Set against a festive backdrop she almost doesn’t have time for, the film follows a woman moving through the quiet weight of responsibility and routine. Beneath her composed exterior, a softer undercurrent lingers — of longing, hesitation, and the possibility of connection. What begins as just another day slowly shifts into something more intimate, where the occasion isn’t the festival, but the moment she allows herself to open up.
In this film, I was interested in exploring the emotional tension between control and vulnerability. Tara exists in a space many women inhabit — balancing responsibility while quietly holding space for something more personal. The narrative unfolds through restraint, where nothing is overly declared. Small gestures, pauses, and glances become central to the storytelling, allowing the emotional shift to feel organic rather than constructed.
